Nurse Next Door Academy and LearnUpon
Nurse Next Door Academy is hosted on LearnUpon, a learning management system. Franchise owners can manage their administration of Nurse Next Door Academy, including enrollment and management of Care Teams in Franchise Academy, Care Designer Academy and Caregiver Academy. You are also able to create and review reports on progression and completion of the courses.

Logging into Nurse Next Door Academy
Log into Care Central and click on Nurse Next Door Academy. You will be directed to Nurse Next Door’s centralized e-Learning. Alternatively, you can find the link here.

Completing the Nurse Next Door Academy Once you log in, you will see your dashboard. Total Number of Courses: This indicates the courses you need to complete for Nurse Next Door Academy. Franchise Academy = 1 course Caregiver Academy = 1 course Care Designer Academy = 14 courses (built on a Learning Path) What is a learning path? Set of courses built into a learning journey in chronological order. In the example to the right, the user needs to complete four Courses. Two will be for Franchise and Caregiver Academy. The other two are the first two courses of Care Designer Academy. In the right-hand column, you should see the courses for: Franchise Academy, Caregiver Academy and Care Designer Academy. |

Start Your Course: Click Start to begin one of the Academies. Feel free to take breaks as needed. All of your work will automatically be saved as you progress, and you will not need to start from the beginning. |

Creating Users for Caregiver Academy Click on Dashboard in the top left hand nav. You will see a drop-down menu. Click on Users. |

Once you are in the Users tab, click on Actions, then Create, as per screenshot to the right. |

To create a Caregiver user:
What are groups? Groups are the courses you want to enroll a user into. Groups are labeled according to the following criteria: Franchise Academy - Will contain your franchise location name and have ‘FP’ in the title Care Designer Academy - Will contain your franchise location name and have ‘CD’ in the title Caregiver Academy - Will contain your franchise location name and have ‘FP’ in the title |

Creating Users for Care Designer Academy and Franchise Academy Once your team members log in, you will be able to add more Academies to their account. Note: You will not be able to add Academies until they have logged on. Follow the same steps as outlined above. Go to Users and select the user you want to add more courses to. Select Groups under the user's account (as per image). Add the other Groups (Academies) and hit Save.! |
